How to Put a Chain on Your Roman Blind Headrail
Follow these steps to easily replace or put on a chain on your roman blind headrail.
Step 1
First we need to put the chain into the mechanism. To do this you need to take the mechanism out of the track. This is the fitting that holds the mechanism onto the track this needs to be unscrewed so that the mechanism will pull off easily.
Step 2
There are two grooves either side that you need to push in so that it releases the cap. Please use a flat headed screw driver to do this.
Step 3
You will now see a cog on the cap where you need to clip in the chain this comes out making it easy to put the chain on.
Step 4
Pressing in the two clips in at the sides you can now push the cap back onto the mechanism and then screw it back together.
Step 4
The mechanism should now push back onto the track easily making sure the metal shaft that runs through the track is pushed into the square hole on the mechanism for your track to work correctly. Now the mechanism can be screwed securely back onto the track.
