If you are a local business in Newtown and would like to make a contribution to Pickering Manor we have a wide range of projects you can give to and make a positive difference to our residents’ lives.

Your business can make a gift towards:

• Renovation of our buildings and maintenance of our grounds. At Pickering Manor we work very hard to maintain our properties and to add new features that enhance the life and well being of our residents.

We are always looking for donations to fund special projects as part of our renovations and improvements. Please contact Vanessa Deussing to make a special contribution towards our renovation projects.

• Reflection Garden – We remember and honor those who have stayed at Pickering Manor.  We believe that each individual that comes through our doors leaves a legacy.  Our goal is to have a central outdoor location where residents and their families can spend time together surrounded by beautiful lush gardens complete with memoirs and words of wisdom from current and former residents.  

With Pickering’s 50th year celebration in 2013, we hope to build this Reflection Garden to honor and remember our residents for the next 50 years to come.  Please contact Vanessa Deussing to make a special contribution towards this project.

As a corporate partner your business or association can sponsor various Pickering Manor events like:

• Golf Outing – Every fall the Newtown Rotary hosts a golf outing to benefit Pickering Manor.  This past year, the Rotary and the Newtown Business Association joined forces to host the annual golf outing at Cherry Valley Country Club.  Join us next year again at Cherry Valley Country Club!  We have various levels of sponsorships available.

• Pickering Manor Concert Series – Each Spring Pickering Manor hosts a Concert Series at the Newtown Theatre.  Last year we celebrated the Irish heritage with Celtic Fest.  Stay tuned for our 50th year celebration themed concert event.  Various sponsorship levels available.

• The Auxiliary Ball - The Pickering Manor Auxiliary hosts the Pickering Manor Ball each November.  This year it will be at the Washington Crossing Inn in Washington Crossing, PA on November 10, 2012.  Next year look out for our 50th Anniversary Ball!  Various sponsorship levels will be available for this very special Golden Anniversary.
